Every theme that you purchase on ThemePatio comes with a license key that gives you access to seamless theme updates.
Simply speaking, this means that with an active license key you’ll be able to update the theme to a newer version by simply clicking the Update button, just as with any free theme from the official WordPress.org theme repository.
If you choose not to activate the key, you’ll have to update the theme manually every time the new version is released. There is nothing wrong with this approach it just takes more time.
